Spring 08 Happenings

Spring has pretty much sprung in Colorado. Lily is enjoying exploring outside.

Jack had a big project at school studying planets. On Friday he gave a presentation about Saturn's rings and we had a great time putting together the visual together.

Kate has been studying piano with our neighbor, Mrs. Flores. On Wednesday, she completed her first piano primer book. She's having a lot of fun and comes home to proudly practice new songs on her little electric keyboard.

John was in Scottsdale, AZ last weekend for an Aspen Financial Group getaway. He and Pat enjoyed golfing and swimming in the warm 90-degree weather. Julie has been doing lots of crafty stuff. (You can always take a peek at what she's making at http://PaperJewels.blogspot.com)

Katelyn Featured in Art Show

Kate's landscape, with a bright sun, glimmering stream, flying bird and little tree caught the eye of her art teacher and was featured in the Pioneer Elementary art show! Kate made it with tissue paper and the textures make the scene come to life. We had fun visiting the show at the Parker Mainstreet Center then going out to dinner at the golf club and Katelyn, of course, was beaming with pride!
